On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the international recognition of the Republic of Croatia and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Italy and the Republic of Croatia, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Media and the City of Zagreb, on July 13th, 2022, the monographic exhibition “Emanuel Vidović Pasatist and Modernist” was opened in the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan”.
Then, in the organization of the Consul General of the Republic of Croatia in Milan, Dr. sc. Stjepan Ribić in the courtyard of the Galleria d’arte Moderna, a reception was held which the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Italy Jasen Mesić, the Mayor of the City of Zagreb Tomislav Tomašević, the Deputy Prefects of Osijek-Baranja County Mato Lukić and Josip Miletić, the Mayor of the City of Đakovo Marin Mandarić and other guests attended.
The aforementioned events were also an opportunity to promote Croatian tourist potential and sights, culture and gastronomic specialties in this Italian metropolis. The emphasis of the promotion was on the area of Slavonia and Baranja, especially Đakovo, so members of KUD “Tena” from Đakovo participated in the program.
